The Daily Herald newsroom is a sweet place each December, as it becomes a repository for Christmas cookies.
Employees bring in baked treats, and vendors also send us goody baskets for the holidays. (Ethical disclosure: We eat the food, but we put swag such as books, toys and DVDs in a sale to benefit charity.)
