The Little City Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Palatine that serves children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will honor longtime supporter and former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley at its 2011 Annual Dinner Gala.

Journalist Bill Kurtis will emcee the fundraiser, which takes place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the John G. Shedd Aquarium. Little City officials say they also expect the presence of several honorary chairs and members, including Gov. Pat Quinn.
