Pavement rejuvenation treatment scheduled for Villa Park streets

Portions of six Villa Park streets are scheduled for a pavement rejuvenation treatment on Monday, Oct. 3.

Slated for treatment are sections of Addison, Euclid, Lincoln, Merle, Princeton and Westmore.

Residents are asked to move their cars by 7 a.m. Streets will be closed for four to six hours. During the application or while the treatment is curing, no cars, bicycles, children or pets should use the street to avoid tracking fresh material onto driveways or into homes.

Anyone who must drive on the streets is asked to go slowly to keep removal of the material to a minimum. However, residents are asked not to drive or park on the streets until after sand has been applied.

If the treatment must be postponed due to weather or other conditions, work will be scheduled for the next available business day. For details on the rejuvenation treatment, call (630) 834-8505.
