Obama shouldn’t mess in union negotiations

President Obama’s speech before the joint session of Congress kept mentioning jobs, yet he never specially brought any ideas to the surface except public sector unions including teachers, firefighters and policemen and returning the right to collective bargaining. Obama would use money from his jobs programs to return these workers back to the classroom, firehouse and police duty.

Mr. President, the federal government has no right to engage in contract negotiations, including salaries and benefits at any state, county or municipality’s level, especially using federal taxpayer money pay for the return of this class of worker to full employment.

It is the responsibility of each state, county and municipal government to negotiate with the public sector unions as independent agencies without the federal government involvement.

Please remove the billions of dollars that your plan would be used for the public sector unions.
