Bears QB Hanie gives kids exercise tips in Palatine

Chicago Bears backup quarterback Caleb Hanie led a group of 100 kids ages 6 to 14 in a 90-minute clinic on nutrition and staying active Tuesday at the Midtown Athletic Club in Palatine. He gave fitness tips, signed autographs, took pictures and answered questions.

Then the kids surprised him with balloons and a birthday cake in honor of his 26th birthday on Sunday, which the Bears marked by downing Atlanta 30-12 in the season opener.
