Medical center, AVON team up for mammograms

This September, women will be adding something new to their beauty routine — a mammogram.Holy Family Medical Center#146;s Women#146;s Imaging Center (WIC) and AVON-Morton Grove are joining forces to offer #147;Wednesdays are for Women#148; in September to bring women in for their mammograms. On Wednesdays in September, free Avon products will be given to women who come in for a mammogram. Together, the two organizations hope to make a local impact on breast health.#147;We are very excited about partnering with Avon to bring more women in for a screening mammogram,#148; said John Baird, chief executive officer of Holy Family Medical Center. #147;Holy Family and Avon are both dedicated to making #145;Wednesdays for Women#146; in September a great experience.#148;The Women#146;s Imaging Center provides advanced diagnostic services for breast and bone health in a convenient setting.
