Each year, Monti and other attorneys at Lavelle Law team up with members of the local business community to take on the Palatine Police and Fire departments in a game of flag football. The event serves as a fundraiser for local causes, with all proceeds from this year's event going to the Northwest Special Recreation Association.

NWSRA is an organization that provides recreational activities for children and adults with disabilities. Compromised of 17 park districts in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, NWSRA offers a number of programs throughout the year, including swimming lessons, team sports, cooking lessons and social clubs.

"We are looking to assist the NWSRA in its fundraising efforts this year," said Monti. "We are very pleased that we can assist, as they do outstanding work in our community. Every dollar we raise can have a measurable impact on the lives of the families they serve."

Over the years, Lavelle Law Ltd. has worked to give back to the community in a variety of ways.

"For the past two years, the Palatine Bowl has not only been a fun time for everyone involved, but we've been able to raise a lot of money to donate to charitable causes," Monti said. "We've made substantial donations to WINGS the past two years and we hope we can do the same for NWSRA this year."

Palatine Fire Sergeant Kyle Ingebrigtsen adds, "We're excited to be working with our friends over at Lavelle Law again. We look forward to this event each year and we're happy to do our part to help out."

The players will be cheered on by the Harper College cheerleaders, and at halftime, there will be a contest for kids in attendance. Throughout the game, kids can also play in the moon bounce or get an up close look at a fire truck.

In addition to the football game, the staff of Lavelle Law Ltd. will be donating and cooking hot dogs for the attendees and a 50/50 raffle will be held, with three winners picking up cash prizes.

Raffle tickets cost $5 each or five tickets for $20 and will be available on-site or in advance at the Lavelle Law Ltd. offices, 501 W Colfax, or at the Palatine Police Department.
