Metropolis’ Sunday Soiree gets a makeover

Metropolis’ popular ladies-only fundraiser — the Sunday Soiree — set for Sept. 11, moves to a new location and boasts new features.

It’s a special night just for women with all the things ladies enjoy: shopping, wine, snacks, goodies and a show.

This year, Metropolis has moved the eighth annual Sunday Soiree to The Cotillion in Palatine. Guests will sip wine, snack on hors d’oeuvres and socialize, while shopping at some of the unique boutiques from all around the Northwest suburbs.

Also new this year, ladies will enjoy a full, sit-down dinner. The evening will wrap up with a performance from the Laugh Out Loud comedy troupe.

Also new, the first 100 ticket buyers will be entered into a special raffle to win a gift basket from our vendors.

All proceeds from the Sunday Soiree will benefit Metropolis Performing Arts Centre’s entertainment and educational programming.

The Soiree runs from 4:30-9 p.m. at The Cotillion, 360 S. Creekside Drive in Palatine. Tickets are $55 per person and include hors d’oeuvres, drinks, dinner and a gift bag. Tickets are available at www.MetropolisArts.com or at the box office, (847) 577-2121.
