Where’s the outcry over Syrian attack?

It was reported and verified on Aug. 15 that Syrian troops opened fire and bombarded a Palestinian refugee camp near the city of Latakia, leaving four dead. Can we now expect the United Nations to issue a Goldstone Report condemning Syrian action for crimes against humanity? Or is U.N. condemnation reserved exclusively for Israel? Even the Palestinian Authority stopped short of denouncing Syria.

The message from the Middle East is clear. Muslim troops slaughtering Muslim refugees is just “business as usual,” and civilized nations just keep your righteous anger directed toward the democratic nation of Israel.
