Bartlett Street Fest coming Sept. 3

The Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department Inc. will host the fourth annual Street Fest, Dance and Raffle from noon-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, on Main Street, Bartlett.

The Kids Zone, fun activities for kids, will again be a highlight during the afternoon. By popular demand, the “Obie the Train” ride from the Canadian National Railroad returns. Bingo will be held in the Fire Barn and there will be a Classic Emergency Vehicle Rally in the village hall parking lot.

There will be food and beer and wine available, and bands on stage all afternoon and evening featuring great music.

The headline evening band at 7 p.m. is Hi Infidelity. The BVFD will announce the recipients of two 2011 scholarships. And at the end of the evening, if the winner is present, someone will go home with the $5,000 first place raffle prize. This is a great family fun event with no admission fee.

Sponsorships are available. For information contact Bob Bucaro at (630) 830-4018.
