Volunteers sought for Buddy Baseball in Buffalo Grove

The village of Buffalo Grove Commission for Residents with Disabilities is seeking volunteers for the Buddy Baseball exhibition game during Buffalo Grove Days. T

he game will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, with a rain date of Sept. 4. Buddy Baseball is played on a special field at Kendrigan Field on the south side of Aptakisic Road, west of Buffalo Grove Road in Buffalo Grove.

Volunteers are needed to assist participating children on the field and when they bat. Volunteers need to be 12 years and older. If you would like to volunteer, contact Ghida Neukirch, deputy village manager at gneukirch@vbg.org or (847) 459-2518.
