Police began an investigation Friday after a parent reported that one of the teens had been sexually abused at the Buffalo Grove business. Upon further investigation, authorities said Monday, police determined a second juvenile had also been abused at the same business, located in an industrial park.
The accusations stem from events that occurred within the past two weeks, authorities said. Police declined to name the business Monday because their investigation is ongoing.
"We're still looking into whether there are additional victims and additional incidences," Buffalo Grove police Cmdr. Steve Husak said. "There might be a pattern there."
Burgess appeared in court Sunday, when his bond was set at $1 million. He is scheduled to return to court Aug. 31 at the Lake County courthouse in Waukegan.
