Free phone bill clinic

Phone users can learn how to save money on their monthly bills during a telephone clinic at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 at the Round Lake Beach Cultural Center. The free event is sponsored by state Sen. Suzi Schmidt who will host with the Citizens Utility Board. CUB staff will examine landline phone bills and offer suggestions of how to lower costs and answer questions. Participants should bring a copy of their phone bill to assist CUB staff. The cultural center is at 2007 Civic Center Way, off Hook Drive, west of Route 83. Call (224) 372-7465.
