Stop what Obama is doing to America

Stop already! Everything would be rosy for our president if his predecessor didn’t mess everything up. He’d fix the economy if he could raise the debt ceiling and spend more money. But in order to do that, more revenue must be collected in the form of higher taxes.

While arguing about all of this, 10 percent of Americans are jobless with more joining that group daily. Jobless people don’t pay taxes. They receive benefits, which means those of us currently working will be expected to pay higher taxes to support the jobless and the president’s pension for more spending. Even if he confiscated all of the wealth of the rich, he keeps extolling, he still wouldn’t have enough money to spend.

Thanks to the EPA, America doesn’t have an energy plan other than no drilling for oil or coal. How do we not rely on foreign energy sources if we don’t develop our own? None of this seems to be well thought out. The consequence of subsidizing green energy is a loss of 3.7 private sector jobs for every green one created. It’s redistribution by overtaxing one segment and giving it to green technologies at a ridiculous cost of $250,000 per green job.

The president said while campaigning that America is a great country but he, as promised, has been fundamentally changing it into what we see now. More people without jobs than ever before, home values dropping to record lows, more businesses closing, more vacant buildings and strip malls, a rise in energy and food prices with runaway inflation on the horizon. Our lawmakers had better get serious about getting people back to work by cutting back the overregulation on all business. By punishing the fat cats, this administration is punishing just about everyone he pledged to serve.
