Man hospitalized after found running naked around W. Chicago High School football field

A man was hospitalized after officials found him running naked around the West Chicago Community High School football field Saturday morning.

About 11:40 a.m. West Chicago police and fire officials were called to the high school, located at 326 Joliet St.

According to West Chicago firefighter Kevin Siercocuck, the man, who looked to be in his 40s, had stripped off his clothing and was attempting to play football. Siercocuck said the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs at the time and was taken to Central DuPage Hospital for treatment.

West Chicago Police were unable to provide any further information on the incident. It is unknown whether or not the man was placed under arrest.
