Roselle Explorers win at state

Members of Roselle Police Explorer Post 151 took high honors in the Illinois Law Enforcement Explorers Conference in Springfield. More than 250 explorers from throughout Illinois competed.

Team members Matt Bellavia, Dan Wells, Tyler Iantoni and Sal Victor placed first in the Felony Arrest Competition, second in Crime Scene Investigation, and fourth in Hostage Crisis Negotiation.

The Roselle post started in 2008 and has 13 current members. The post now seeks Roselle residents, Lake Park or Conant High School students or graduates ages 15 to 21 who want to pursue a career in law enforcement.
