Lakemoor Fest ready to rock:

Lakemoor Fest, the annual celebration punctuated by a big fireworks show, will kick off at 4 p.m. Friday at Morrison Park on Lily Lake, Route 120 between Darrell and Lily Lake Road. The three-day festival continues on Saturday at 9 a.m., and at 11 a.m. Sunday. Route 120 from Lily Lake to Darrell will be closed from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday for the fireworks show, which begins at 9:30 p.m. Live music, a carnival, food and other activities, including a fishing derby, hot dog eating contest and treasure hunt for kids are featured.
