Submitted by Art In Your Eye Festival

The seventh annual Art In Your Eye Festival recently introduced its 2011 fine art poster, which is now on sale. The Batavia festival will be Saturday, Aug. 13, and Sunday, Aug. 14, along the Batavia Riverwalk.

The high-quality, frameable poster, seventh in an annual series, features the sculpture “Less Than” by Batavia’s Water Street Studios artist Rita Grendze. The sculpture was purchased by the Art In Your Eye Festival and will be on permanent display at Batavia City Hall as part of the City Art Collection.

The 18-by-24-inch poster is being sold for $10. The printing of the poster was donated by BFC Integrated Print Management of Batavia.

An exhibit of Grendze’s work is on display at Allen+Pepa Architects, 11 W. Wilson St., Batavia. The exhibit will run through Sept. 5. Posters will be available for sale at this event.

The poster can also be purchased at the following locations during business hours: Batavia City Hall, second floor receptionist desk, 100 N. Island Ave., (630) 879-1424; Batavia MainStreet, 4½ W. Wilson St., (630) 761-3528; Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St., Batavia, (630) 761-9977; Allen+Pepa Architects, 8 W. Wilson St., Batavia, (630) 879-8831; K. Hollis Jewelers, 147 S.
