Road closure on Biesterfield

Elk Grove Village public works crews will be reconstructing the brick paver crosswalk at the corner of Biesterfield Road and Gibson Drive. The project will include the reconstruction of the handicap sidewalk ramps. To speed up construction, the intersection will be closed to all traffic for three to four weeks starting Tuesday, July 26. Detour signs will be posted along Baltimore Drive, Newberry Drive and Gibson Drive to the west, and Hampshire Drive and Potomac Lane to the east.
