Rolling Meadows softball tournament lives on

Around 30 softball teams, including six coed teams, played nonstop ball Saturday at Kimball Hill Park in Rolling Meadows. The occasion? Terry Moran Day, the annual event honoring the memory of the softball hall of famer from Rolling Meadows who died in a car accident 16 years ago, which for many years also served as a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The festival that was once part of Terry Moran Day is gone, but the softball tournament is still vibrant.
