Buffalo Grove opens the Fine Arts Fest

More than 160 juried artists put their best art forward Saturday at opening day of the Buffalo Grove Fine Arts Invitational, and they’ll be back Sunday for more of the same. The festival, listed as one of the top fine arts fests in the country, is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Buffalo Grove Town Center, Lake-Cook Road at Route 83. The fest also features live music, food and children’s activities. Admission and parking are free.
