Round Lake resident Gerald (Jerry) Dietz, 42, announced he is seeking the Republican nomination for Clerk of the Circuit Court in Lake County. An attorney, Dietz said he would modernize the office with digital updates including online access to court information, the ability to pay fines and court fees online and to file official court documents electronically.
