Buffalo Grove offers prescription disposal

The village of Buffalo Grove is offering its citizens a safe, environmentally friendly way to drop off unused prescriptions and expired over-the-counter medications.

Residents of Buffalo Grove can drop of their medications at village hall, 50 Raupp Blvd., while the building is open. Normal business hours are Mondays from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The village asks that medicines be turned over in their original containers with the labels on. This service is not available to businesses or to people who do not live in Buffalo Grove.
