Barrington 4th fest, Brat Tent, are back
The Barrington Brat Tent is back, and so’s the Fourth of July festival.
The annual fest is July 1-July 4, in the North Commuter lot at Spring Street. Brat Tent hours are 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.
Barrington’s celebration has the heart of a hometown festival, with food, drink, live entertainment, games, raffles, crafts, a rock climbing wall — all centered on the Brat Tent in the north commuter lot at Spring Street. The fest is sponsored by the Barrington Junior Women’s Club, the Breakfast Rotary Club of Barrington, the Lions Club of Barrington, the Kiwanis Club of Barrington, the Noon Rotary of Barrington, Harris Bank Barrington and Rose Packing & Millrose Brewing.
The Kids’ Daytime Special includes unlimited access to all kids’ activities, hot dog, chips & soda, $5 for kids 3+ 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. adults free. Evening admission (after 6 p.m.): $5 adults; $1 ages 17-14; free 13 & under.
