Time of good sense and good judgment

This has been a good time for good judgment and common sense. For example: 1) After lying to the media, his constituents and all the American public for close to a week, the sexual pervert democrat from New York finally resigned. Good riddance.

2) After fighting any changes in social security for over 30 years, the AARP finally came to the conclusion that the program was not sustainable in its present form. Looks like Paul Ryan was right after all, but of course not a word from President Obama. Leadership might cost him votes, and that, of course, is what counts.

3) And the American Medical Association, after being big supporters of Obama Care, has now withdrawn its support, after realizing it is not a workable program. More common sense, and good judgment.

4) And wonder of wonders, the U.S. Senate voted down any more money for ethenol, the gasoline substitute that consumes more than 45 percent of our nation’s corn supply, and has doubled the price of corn the past year. This $6 billion dollar savings can help to reduce our debt. Now we need to cut out the tens of billions that go to subsidizing solar cells, wind mills, electric cars, etc.

5) And thanks to the U.S. Supreme court, for throwing out the huge class action law suit against Walmart. The lawyers took a case by six women, and tried to include over a million people. This would have cost billions, and we the consumer would end up paying.

6) And the best one of all came from a recent poll that said any Republican could beat Obama by a margin of 44 percent to 39 percent. Now that’s good judgment, and common sense.
