Big Noise auditions for fall musical, ‘How To Succeed’

Big Noise Theatre will have auditions for its fall musical, “How To Succeed in Business without Really Trying,” from 6:30-10 p.m. Sunday and Monday, July 10-11, at the Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Ave., Winnetka.

Rehearsals will be in Winnetka in July and August and move to Des Plaines in September. Performances will run Sept. 23 to Oct. 1 at Prairie Lakes Theatre, 515 E. Thacker, Des Plaines.

The musical requires high energy actors, singers and dancers ages 18 and older who are comfortable with ensemble singing and movement. The show specifically needs men ages 35 and older to play numerous managers and executives. Principals must have a good sense of comic timing and be comfortable with physical comedy.

Those auditioning should prepare two contrasting musical theater songs in the style of the show. You can choose numbers from “How to Succeed,” but no special consideration will be given based on song choice. All will be dancing at both the open call and callback.
