Former Des Plaines Elementary District 62 school board member James Poskozim will return to serve as trustee after his appointment to fill the vacancy left by board member Ray Imig's departure. Imig resigned earlier this month to spend more time pursuing volunteer work in the community. His unexpired term runs through April 2013. Poskozim lost his seat in the April election in which incumbents Brenda Murphy, Sharon Lynch and newcomer Terry Lindsay won the three open seats. Poskozim was one of two applicants interviewed by the school board in closed session and was appointed this week. Poskozim is a retired corporate lawyer.
