This year, the library will have guest authors for children and teens to visit with and find out about some neat books to read this summer. You might even win a free copy of an author's book.

Special guests will be Andalusian horses that will demonstrate their magnificent riding techniques outside on the lawn on the fire station side of the library at 11 a.m.

The cafe will have specially priced hot dogs, grilled outside, weather permitting or inside if inclement weather. A kid's meal with a small kid size hot dog and chips will be $2.50, tax included and for adults, enjoy a hot dog and chips from Reams Elburn Market for $3.50, tax included.

If you can't make it to the library on opening day, you can still sign up for summer reading anytime after that. Don't miss out on the fun this summer. Come to the Sugar Grove Library and enjoy a Midsummer Knight's Read!
