Arlington Hts. school walks for Make-A-Wish

For the fourth year, students and staffers at Patton School in Arlington Heights put their feet to the test. On Thursday, May 19, they walked around the school neighborhood in their annual Walk-A-Thon for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

This year, they were walking to grant the wish of Phillip, who was diagnosed with a rare chromosomal abnormality at just 9 months.

Phillip wants to go to Disney World.

From kindergarten to fifth grade, Patton students collected pledges to walk. Contributions for Phillip are still being taken at the school, and by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.
