Dogs rule Saturday in Buffalo Grove

The Friends of the Parks Foundation of the Buffalo Grove Park District will hold a special event for dogs and their families from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Happy Tails Dog Park in Buffalo Grove.

The Bow WOW Event will include an expo of dog-related businesses, activities, fun and lots of playful pups. A demonstration of dog training will be presented at noon by Deputy Robert Bell and his K9 companion Conan. Orphans of the Storm will also be at the event with some adorable dogs looking for a good home.

Happy Tails Dog Park is located south of the Buffalo Grove Train Station at 835 Commerce Court in Buffalo Grove. Park at the far south end of the lot and take the path to Happy Tails.

All proceeds of this event benefit the Buffalo Grove Friends of the Parks Foundation, a 501(c) 3 organization.
