Buffalo Grove holds park cleanup day

The Buffalo Grove Park District, in partnership with the Buffalo Grove Environmental Action Team, is seeking volunteers to participate in a park clean up and improvement day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 30, at Mike Rylko Community Park. Volunteers should meet in the area between the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center and the Spray 'N Play, located at 951 McHenry Road. The project was planned in conjunction with Earth Day and will include clean up, removal of invasive plants, and planting plugs of native plants.
