John D'Astice puts support behind Jim Larsen

Jim Larsen and I met through the YMCA “Indian Princess” program over 16 years ago. I have come to know Jim as thoughtful and articulate, a natural leader, loving father and great friend. Jim cares about people and expresses his opinion without regret.

For the last two years, Jim and I have served together on the Rolling Meadows City Council. While we may not always see eye-to-eye, I respect the fact that Jim's view on a particular issue can often help the council think about other ways of considering that issue.

His unique observations create conversations which spark new ideas among the members of the City Council. These new ideas are always useful when trying to resolve old challenges.

Jim and his family have lived in Rolling Meadows for over 17 years. He has always been a hometown guy with a healthy enthusiasm for the community. He raised his family here and now wants to continue to give back to the city that he calls home.

I endorse Jim Larsen for Alderman of Ward 7 in Rolling Meadows and sincerely ask the residents to go out on April 5 and vote for Jim Larsen.
