4 hurt in Streamwood crash

Four people were hospitalized — some in critical condition — after a crash around 2:17 p.m. Monday in Streamwood, police said.

Firefighters extricated victims of the four-vehicle crash near 501 E. Lake St. and took the injured to nearby hospitals, officials said.

Police declined to give the status of any of the victims, pending notification of their families. Streamwood police are investigating.
