Palatine Polar Plunge on Sunday to benefit Special Olympics

Special Olympics Illinois will hold its Law Enforcement Torch Run Palatine Polar Plunge on Sunday, Feb. 27, at the Salt Creek Park District’s Twin Lakes, 1200 E. Twin Lakes Drive.

Registration starts at 11 a.m. followed by the plunge at 1 p.m. and a party afterward. Chevrolet will provide a warming station to help thaw participants.

Individuals must raise at least $75 to take part in the plunge. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics athletes. For more information, go to soill.org/events.
