Library friends to host book sale in Elk Grove

The Elk Grove Village Friends of the Library will hold its annual book sale in the large meeting room of the Elk Grove Village Public Library, 1001 Wellington Ave., from Friday Feb. 25; through Sunday, Feb. 27.

Preview Night will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, and is limited to Friends of the Library members only. Memberships may be purchased that night and ensures you the opportunity to purchase from the entire collection.

From 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, and from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, the sale is open to the general public. A Bag Sale will be held on Sunday. A purchase of $5, for a grocery-size bag, is required for entrance. The bag may then be filled with as many non-special items as it will hold. Additional $5 bags are also available.

Hundreds of books in 50 different categories including VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs, and books on tape will be available for your pleasure. All proceeds from the sale go to purchase items and programs for the library.
