You can help feed hungry in Haiti

Bright Hope needs volunteers to pack food for 212,000 meals for children in 17 Haitian schools.

The Hoffman Estates-based charity has scheduled several sessions through Saturday, with each lasting two hours. A freewill offering will be collected during each food-packing session to help provide for the cost of the food.

“We have a real, hands-on effort happening right here in Hoffman Estates that will give our volunteers a chance to directly feed hungry children in Haiti,” said Craig Dyer, president of Bright Hope. “With the help of volunteers, no child in this program will have to go hungry.”

Sign up to volunteer or give monetary support at brighthope.org by clicking on “Hope4Haiti Food Pack.” Groups are welcome and may register by calling Joy at (224) 520-6100.
