N. Chicago hosts outdoors play date

A play date with nature is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22 at the Greenbelt Cultural Center, 1215 Green Bay Road, North Chicago.

Kids are invited to play outside and build a snow castle or other winter masterpiece. Parents, grandparents and caregivers also are welcome.

Participants in the free event should meet at the rear parking lot and dress for being outdoors. Call (847) 968-3477 for more information.
