Blackhawks send Morin back to Rockford

The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forward Jeremy Morin to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.

Morin, 19, has registered three points (2G, A) and a +2 plus/minus rating in nine games with Chicago this season. The Auburn, New York, native has also netted six goals, including a team-high four power-play markers, in 17 AHL tilts in his professional debut.
