Kramer for Kane Sheriff

In the race for Kane County Sheriff, I sincerely believe that my son, Donald E. Kramer, is the candidate to elect. He has 30 years experience in all sections of the sheriff's department and many years experience working in the corrections center as an officer and as a supervisor.

Kramer has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Aurora University and a master's degree in criminal justice from Chicago State University. He has made many speeches and performed training programs in the county and is involved with many civic organizations.

Kramer has training in budgeting and financial administration, which is very important in this time of doing more with less.

Kramer is knowledgeable of patrolling and the need and manner to answer calls for all service.

I was in rural Kane County for two weeks helping my son put up election signs. During this time I saw two Kane County Sheriff's cars going north on Randall Road north of Route 64. This is not enough visibility in a county of this size. I know the sheriff's office is short of deputies, but visibility is important to crime prevention. Kramer has the knowledge and ability to provide service with the resources available.

Many rural residents are not satisfied with the service provided. They are especially upset with those areas with abandoned buildings where criminal activity is happening: underage drinking, drug use and attempts to establish drug labs. This is a big part of patrol.

Let's elect a sheriff who is innovative, knowledgeable and ready to go to work to solve these problems.
