Gaulrapp represents solutions, not anger

Political rhetoric flying across the airwaves is bizarre and disconcerting. Yet, complicated issues need attention. We need to find ways past lies and scary language. Common sense and thoughtful ideas will help us get through this insanity. I'm going to look for candidates who will do something.

Will this person actually go to Washington, D.C., with ideas and facts, to discuss and negotiate for best solutions to problems? We need someone who is willing to compromise to find solutions. They must if we want our country to move forward.

Everyone I know is angry and disgusted with the Congress that has forgotten how to compromise. Officials at township, city and county can come to consensus. What happens at that next level of government?

Our present U.S. representative from District 16 has shown over and over he will not compromise to solve problems. He has let all of the really important votes go by when he should have been helping us move forward.

This November I am voting for George Gaulrapp. He is presently the mayor of Freeport. Hopefully, he knows how to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem. Vote in November for solutions, not anger.
