Material Sciences sells coil assets

ELK GROVE VILLAGE - Material Sciences Corp., a provider of material-based solutions for acoustical and coated-metal applications, announced the sale of a portion of its coil-coating assets and associated business base to Roll Coater Inc. Based on fiscal 2010 shipments, the associated business base includes approximately $28.6 million of general-line coil-coated products, the company said.
