Great job on snow this winter, IDOT

We have had some major snowfalls this season. I want to thank the Illinois Department of Transportation for their tireless efforts to maintain the highways during and after these winter storms.

I travel the Elgin-OHare and I-290 (Route 53) daily en route to work. I never felt I was traveling unsafe roads. The snow removal and salting efforts were excellent. My commute was never much longer than in summer, even after 10-plus inches of snow. Keep up the good work IDOT - it is noticed and appreciated.
