Bulls academy set to host youth travel team tryouts

The Chicago Bulls/White Sox Training Academy will host boys and girls basketball travel team this month in Lisle and Schaumburg.

The tryouts will take place at the Bulls Training Academy, 6200 River Bend Drive in Lisle, and at the Schaumburg Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road, in Schaumburg.

The academy offers competitive basketball teams for players in grades 4th-12th. Players selected for these teams will compete in league and tournament play against top youth basketball teams in Illinois. Players will be selected for Level 1 or Level 2 teams based on skill level.

Teams will operate from the Bulls/Sox Training Academy in Lisle and the Schaumburg Sport Center.

Tryouts are free, and no pre-registration is required. Here are the dates, times and locations for the tryouts:

Lisle (boys)

• 4th-5th grades, March 22, 6-7:30 p.m.

• 6th grade, March 22, 7:30-9 p.m.

• 7th grade, March 23, 6-7:30 p.m.

• 8th grade, March 23m 7:30-9 p.m.

• High school, March 30, 6-9 p.m.

Schaumburg (boys)

• 4th-6th, March 23, 6:30-8 p.m.

• 7th-8th, March 23, 8-9:30 p.m.

• High school, March 23, 8-9:30 p.m.

Lisle (Girls)

• 5th-6th, March 24, 6-7:30 p.m.

• 7th-8th, March 24, 7:30-9 p.m.

• High school, March 29, 6-9 p.m.

Schaumburg

• 4th-6th, March 23, 6:30-8 p.m.

• 7th-8th, March 23, 8-9:30 p.m.

• High school, March 23, 8-9:30 p.m.

Players unable to attend the tryout should contact Casey Babarskis (630-324-8235 or at CBabarskis@BullsSoxAcademy.com) to arrange an alternate date. It is not mandatory to attend all tryout dates.
