Oak Brook schools win honors

Butler Junior High and Brook Forest Elementary schools in Oak Brook received the highest honors on Illinois' honor roll for schools.

Both in Butler District 53, the schools were named Academic Excellence Award Winners and placed on the 2009 Honor Roll of Illinois schools. It is the highest of three awards presented to top-performing schools in Illinois.
