Carl Hansen funeral set for Feb. 20
The visitation and funeral for longtime Cook County Commissioner Carl Hansen will be held Feb. 19 and 20, both in Mount Prospect.
Hansen, 83, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, in a Skokie hospice facility. A Mount Prospect resident, he was the 15th District commissioner from 1974-2006 and was the Elk Grove Township Republican committeeman for 40 years.
Visitation will be held 3-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road, Mount Prospect. Call (847) 255-7800 with questions.
The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille St., Mount Prospect. Call (847) 253-0361 with questions.
