A chance for change in Springfield

Fellow Democrats and Republican voters, the Feb. 2 primary is your opportunity to change Springfield. Illinois needs new people in Springfield who have not been bought by the lobbyists and the unions. Illinois needs people who are fiscally responsible and share your views and not the same old spend and tax business as usual.

On Jan. 10 lawmakers in Springfield announced they are considering letting Gov. Quinn borrow even more money to pay bills. At the same time, Gov. Quinn said that his victory in the Feb. 2 primary will be a referendum on his 50 percent tax increase and it will be approved in March.

The four top legislative leaders and Gov. Quinn are counting on you to stay at home again so they can take more of your money in higher taxes. Yes, we can change Springfield: Just vote.
