Snow art help sought:"Sno Sculpting" concludes today at Geneva Commons shopping center on Randall Road. It is sponsored by the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission. Four adult artist teams and three high school teams will participate. Voting for the People's Choice award will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Arts center possible?The Geneva Cultural Arts Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday to discuss the feasibility of a cultural arts center. The meeting is in the first-floor conference room of City Hall, 109 S. First St.Give blood in Geneva:Give blood from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road, Geneva. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended. To set an appointment, call (630) 232-4542 or (630) 232-4501. Donors must be at least 17 years old (or 16, with parental consent), and weigh between 110 and 350 pounds.Gift cards for blood donors: Heartland Blood Centers is offering $5 McDonald's gift cards to people who participate in National Blood Donor Month by giving blood in January. Donors also receive basic medical examinations of their temperature, pulse rate, blood pressure and hemoglobin level.
