Roselle police charge two in pot bust

Roselle police found several marijuana plants, 140 grams of processed marijuana and drug paraphernalia after responding to a domestic violence 911 call on New Year's Eve, police said.

Roselle police responded to a 911 call at 639 East Forum Drive around 12:50 Thursday for a reported violent domestic disturbance, officials said.

While investigating, police suspected there were several plants growing inside the residence, along with equipment used to manufacture cannabis and other drug paraphernalia, police said.

Frank James Naples, 32, was charged with possession of cannabis 30-500 grams and production of cannabis 5-20 plants, both felonies; possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of domestic battery, both misdemeanors.

Meghan Gould-Mora, 34, is charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

Police obtained a search warrant and searched the residence with a Warrenville police officer and a police dog.

Gould-Mora was released on bond pending a DuPage County court appearance; Naples was transported to the DuPage County jail to await a bond hearing, police said.
