Wheaton Church to Offer Safe and Fun Alternative to Trick or Treating
Oct 17, 2016 9:20 AM -
With autumn in full swing, Wheaton's Gary United Methodist Church will be getting into the October spirit with its second annual "Trunk or Treat" on Sunday, October 23. The event, to be held in the church parking lot from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, will offer kids a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. Treats will be served from the trunks of church members' awesomely-decorated vehicles, and free games, crafts, snacks and a photo booth will add to the fun. Trunk or Treat will be open to the public, and costumes, which should be church-friendly, are encouraged. Gary Church is located at the north edge of downtown Wheaton at 224 N. Main Street.
