  • Dist. 121 chooses interim superintendent Jun 26, 2012 12:00 AM
Warren Township High School District 121 named Assistant Superintendent Mary Perry-Bates as interim superintendent. Perry-Bates is filling a void that was left by Jeff Brierton, principal of the O'Plaine Road campus, who was expected to fill the position but withdrew two weeks ago. Superintendent Phil Sobocinski said Perry-Bates, who has served alongside of him for nine years will make a great temporary superintendent. "She has all the attributes every lead administrator has to have," he said.
